With over 20 years of progressive experience in nursing and healthcare leadership, Jessica Stewart brings unmatched expertise in clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, infection prevention, and quality improvement. As Director of Clinical Outcomes at Nacogdoches Memorial Health, Jessica leads critical initiatives that directly impact patient safety, hospital accreditation, and clinical performance.
Jessica’s background includes 15 years in acute care settings—spanning women’s and children’s health, ICU, and administration—and 6 years in intermediate and long-term care. Her leadership has been instrumental in multiple successful Joint Commission Hospital and Laboratory Accreditation surveys, as well as Stroke Certification achievements. She has extensive experience in mortality reviews, root cause analyses, policy development, and regulatory reporting across state and national platforms.
Jessica holds three degrees from Stephen F. Austin State University: a Master of Science in Biology, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is also a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant and formerly held a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional credential. Her collaborative approach and data-driven mindset have consistently led to improved clinical outcomes, reduced readmissions, and stronger patient satisfaction metrics.
