Sunda Family's Story

Our whole experience at NMH was great.  The nurses and staff were friendly, explained what was going on every step of the way, and were extremely helpful. I would assure any first-time mother that she would be well taken care of and that her experience would be just as great as mine was at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.  With all three of my babies being delivered at NMH, we have always felt that we received great service.

Hailey was a scheduled c-section, so we knew exactly what was going to happen and when.  Once we arrived the staff was extremely kind and helpful.  They quickly got us settled in and ready for delivery. The staff was constantly checking in and seeing if my husband or I needed anything.  Late in the evening on the day Hailey was born, the nurse on duty came in and told us the doctor had released me for a regular diet and that we could order dinner, which we did.  When she returned later to check on me and we still had not received our meals, she personally called and made sure our meals were delivered.  To me this was going above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

Polly Etta Sunda and her husband, Clay, are the proud parents of Kaylyn, Hayden, and Hailey, who were all delivered at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital.
