Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a non-invasive medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time pictures of the inside of the body. Ultrasound scans can reveal the structure of organs and blood vessels, and are used during a patient’s pregnancy to examine the fetus. Unlike other imaging techniques such as x-ray and PET scans, ultrasounds do not expose the patient to radiation.
